OxiTick - Private To-Do and Notes App, Self-Hosted Sync
Get It and Stay Private
OxiTick is a to-do list and note app that keeps your data where it belongs: on your device. No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no ads. There is no OxiTick cloud, so there is nowhere for your tasks to go that you did not choose.
Key Features:
- Tasks and notes together: one list holds both, and each list decides which new entries start as.
- Smart lists: Overdue, Today, Tomorrow, Next 7 Days and Important, gathered across every list you keep.
- Subtasks with progress: break a job down and watch the bar fill as you tick items off.
- Markdown notes: headings, lists and quotes, written plainly and rendered properly.
- Tags, priorities and repeats: colour tags, four priority levels, and tasks that come back daily, on workdays, weekly, monthly or yearly.
- Built for every screen: phone, tablet and real desktop apps, with a three-pane layout, keyboard shortcuts and a command palette on the big ones.
- Offline always: the app never waits for a network, because your tasks are already there.
Sync, only if you want it:
Your devices can stay in step without anyone else holding your data. OxiTick syncs to a server you run yourself, from a single Docker container on a VPS, a NAS, a Raspberry Pi or an old laptop. There is no middleman and no shared database. Never set one up, and the app simply stays local forever.
There is also an MCP server, so an AI assistant can work your lists through scoped tokens you issue and revoke. The assistant reaches your server, not ours, and only the lists you allow.
Own your tasks. Own your notes. Own your data. Visit oxitick.com for more information.
