Triple Space is live on Google Play. It is a merge puzzle where you drop pieces on a grid, line up three or more of the same thing, and watch them fuse into something bigger. Star dust becomes an asteroid. Asteroids become moons. Keep going and you are making planets, then stars, then a black hole, and finally a Big Bang that wipes the board and leaves your score sitting there looking pleased with itself.
The part we are actually proud of
The game has no ads.
That sentence is doing a lot of work, so let us unpack it. No banner at the bottom. No full-screen video between rounds. No “watch 30 seconds to continue.” No energy meter that refills in four hours or instantly for €1.99. No account. No analytics SDK quietly noting how long you played and on what.
It also does not need the internet. Put the phone in airplane mode and the game does not notice or care.
For a free puzzle game on Android, this is a genuinely strange way to behave. The category runs on attention resale. We would rather it did not, at least not in our corner of it.
What is in the box
- Seven steps of evolution, from star dust to black hole, ending in a Big Bang.
- Bigger merges pay better. Group more than three, or set up a chain reaction, and the score climbs much faster. Chains are where the game gets its hooks in.
- A store slot for the piece you are not ready to deal with yet. Use it wisely. Or do what we do and fill it with something useless at the worst possible moment.
- A daily challenge with a streak, for people who enjoy a small obligation.
- Odd pieces: trapped ships merge into space stations, quantum prisms match anything.
- It remembers. Close the app mid-game and the board is exactly where you left it.
The usual tools
Triple Space is built in Flutter with Flame, same as OxiType, which is why we can ship it without maintaining two separate codebases that disagree with each other.
The privacy part is not a marketing angle we invented for launch day. It is just how we build things, and a puzzle game is an easy place to prove it, because there is genuinely nothing here worth collecting. Your high score is not a business model.
Go break the board
Android first, iOS and web later. Screenshots, the full feature list and the download link are on the Triple Space app page, or go straight to Google Play.
Fair warning about the Big Bang: it clears everything and gives you a lovely number, and then you have an empty grid and a strong opinion about what you should have merged three moves ago.
